Frontend Mock Interview Junior / Middle

In 75 minutes you'll understand what's stopping you from passing interviews — and get a 14-day plan. So interviews stop being a lottery.

  • A real interview simulation (questions + follow-ups)
  • Feedback by criteria: structure, depth, communication, experience
  • A document with priorities + examples of strong phrasing

Why candidates most often get rejected (and it’s not “I don’t know React”)

  • Unstructured answers: the idea is there, but it sounds vague
  • Not enough reasoning process: it’s not clear how you think under pressure
  • Your experience doesn’t sell itself: impact, decisions, trade-offs sound weak

A good fit if

  • you’re aiming for Junior / Middle, but interviews are going hard
  • in rejections you hear “not enough depth / confidence / communication”
  • you get lost on clarifying questions
  • you know the topics, but you don’t sell your experience and impact well
  • you want to understand: “am I middle-level?”

How the interview goes (75 minutes)

5–10 minutes — setup

  • goal (what role, what level, what problems)

40–45 minutes — the actual interview

  • questions + clarifications + follow-ups
  • focus on “thinking out loud” and reasoning

20–25 minutes — debrief

  • where you lose points and why
  • which answers you need to rebuild
  • what to improve first

What I evaluate

  • Answer structure (is there logic, sequence)
  • Depth of understanding (not “I know the word”, but I understand the causes)
  • Communication (clarity, confidence, pace)
  • Project experience (decisions, trade-offs, result)
  • Practice/debugging (how you think, how you test hypotheses)

What makes this different from a “typical mentor consultation”

  • Not “let’s talk about your career”, but a real interview simulation
  • Not generic advice, but a personal debrief + a prioritized plan
  • Not just theory, but checking your thinking, answers, and structure
  • You can come back for a follow-up interview and check your progress

Reviews

“After the debrief, Yaroslav correctly noticed that I’m most likely being screened out when talking about my project. I restructured my answers and on the next interview moved forward.”

“Before this, I was describing my experience very vaguely, so the interviewer couldn’t understand what experience I actually had. I changed my delivery the way Yaroslav advised, and now after I talk about my experience, interviewers become more interested in me, which moved me to the next stages of the interview”

“The most interesting part is that I do have experience. But when they asked about my area of responsibility, what impact I made, what I improved, I couldn’t articulate it at all. Because I’d never thought about it. I just solved tasks and that’s it. Now I analyzed everything I did and was able to formulate what impact I actually made on a specific project, which decisions were good or bad and why. What’s more, I now think broader and immediately ask myself: what impact can I make in this project? ”

FAQ

Is this like “mentorship”?

This is a one-off service: interview rehearsal + concrete steps after. If you’re interested in mentorship, message me on Telegram

What if I’m shaky and afraid it’ll be embarrassing?

That’s how it should be — better to fall here and get a plan than in a real interview.

What technologies will be covered in the interview?

The technical part is your experience. I can’t help improve it even in a month. So we focus on how you think, break down the task, explain decisions, clarify, spot risks, how you present your experience and make trade-offs (performance, DX, security)

What language can we do it in?

I speak Ukrainian / Russian / English — whatever you need for your goals.
